The new Women & Childbirth Services unit is open! Dr. Mark Torres, Obstetrics/Gynecology and Dr. Jerry Miller, Family Medicine with Obstetrics are proud to welcome new patients to Columbus Community Hospital.

The large labor and delivery rooms feature natural light,Tempurpedic beds and Ipod docking stations. Spacious spa bathrooms, family friendly rooms and a c-section operating room on the same floor mean all the comforts of home plus advanced medical care assure you a safe and secure place to welcome a new family member.  

The Women & Childbirth Services Department offers a comprehensive education program to prepare parents for pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting. Classes include Childbirth Classes (5-Class Series or Weekend Class), Baby Care, Breast-feeding, Infant/Child CPR, Infant Massage, a Sibling Class, LaLeche League, and Mommy and Me.

In addition, we provide 24-hour nursing phone consultation before and after your delivery, educational visits and tours of our facility, infant hearing screening for all babies born at Columbus Community Hospital, and infant security banding to provide you peace of mind during your stay.
